Happy 119th birthday, Atleti!
Our club was founded on April 26, 1903. Since then, we've enjoyed 119 years of passion.
On April 26, 1903, the history of our club began. On this important date, Atlético de Madrid was born. A group of young Basque students living in Madrid founded Athletic Club de Madrid, which 119 years later has become one of the most important clubs in our football.
In the minds of all Red & White fans there are thousands of indelible memories, heroic deeds, titles, legends who gave their all for our shirt and unique moments that have forged a fighting club, which with courage and heart never stops believing. Proof of that effort are the great nights experienced by all the fans and the list of achievements that we proudly hold: 11 leagues, 10 Copa del Rey, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 3 UEFA Europa League, 2 Spanish Super Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 1 European Cup Winners' Cup, 3 consecutive Women's Leagues, a Copa de la Reina and a Women's Super Cup, are the Red & Whiet achievements in these 119 years of history.
Our history is full of work, effort, struggle and, of course, success, always supported by an unconditional fan base. And we face the future with the same desire to leave everything on the field to honor the red and white.
