Griezmann: "We want to keep competing and give each match our all"
Griezmann and Siqueira stressed after Córdoba’s thrashing (4-2) that the triumph is vital in order to keep growing as a team.
Antoine Griezmann spoke into the microphones of Canal + at the end of the match against Córdoba and said that the objective of the team is to keep growing and giving their all on the field. "We do our thing. We want to to keep competing and give each match our all." he said.
At the same time, the skilled winger highlighted the importance of winning a new triumph at the Vicente Calderón. "We needed to win here, stay undefeated and continue on the path on which we are. I am happy for the victory and for the goals." he expressed.
Meanwhile, Siqueira recognised in the mixed zone that the thrashing increased the team's confidence by stringing big matches. "It was another important match, Atleti comes from playing great matches. That increases our confidence and we will head home happy." he expressed.
Finally, the Brazilian stressed that victories like today’s, are always important at the end of the season when the titles are decided. "We are in the fight. We know that these matches at home bring the points that we may need at the end of the season. Today we did a good job and the result was very positive for us. The thrashing increases our confidence because lately, things have been going well. I think that is important for the coming matches." he concluded.
