Great game on a historic night
On the day that Simeone became the coach who has coached us the most times in history, our team achieved a great victory against Sevilla.
A resounding 6-1 win against Sevilla in the 24th LaLiga match of the season.
Two Memphis strikes midway through the first half put us 2-0 up before the half hour mark. The Dutchman's first came in the 23rd minute, finishing perfectly one-on-one after a pass from Griezmann, and the second in the 27th minute with a shot into the top corner.
Although Youssef En-Nesyri reduced the deficit on the brink of half-time, Griezmann restored the deficit with another missile into the top corner in the 53rd minute, his 150th goal as a Red and Whites' player. In the 70th minute, Carrasco made it 4-1 with a wonderful assist from Pablo Barrios at the far post and then Morata made it 4-1 late on, after Rakitic's penalty hit the woodwork.
In the 76th minute, the Madrid striker took advantage of a rebound from Bono's own shot to score the fifth and in stoppage time he closed the game in a good personal action in which he cushioned the ball with his chest on the edge of the area before beating the Sevilla goalkeeper.
