Gabi appeared with Gregorio Manzano  prior to the UEFA Eurpoa League match against Udinese. The midfielder, a regular fixture in the Atletico starting team, reviewed the record and considered the possibilities of the red and whites in European competition. 'We are doing very well in this competition and come with the intention of winning. Obviously it’s a very difficult game, but we´ll do well and I'm sure we'll get a positive result,' he said.   After the draw against Granada, the squad was ambitious and willing to show their best game. The midfielder is confident in the squad for the upcoming games. 'I have really wanted to help the team to do well and improve what we are doing, because clearly we have improved a lot.' he said.
