After a few hours rest at the Holiday Inn in Buenos Aires, the Atletico players moved to the Ezeiza training base, the usual training place for Argentina, for the first session after landing in South America, where they will play the Copa Euroamericana. The training lasted just one hour in which players stretched their bodies after the long trip and began to adapt to the times on the other side of the Atlantic. Despite being winter, Atletico were greeted with fairly mild temperatures suitable for football training.

The fitness trainer Oscar Ortega was the first to take the lead in directing the start of training with a series of stretches and physical conditioning. Later, it was Diego Pablo Simeone who took the lead to work with his men on several concepts both offensive and defensive tactics. The Argentine coach Alejandro Sabella watched the session with the Atletico players.

Before training, coach Germán Burgos along with Juanfran and Mario Suarez, gave a clinic with more than 70 young people from various nearby regions (Almirante Brown, Lujan and San Isidro). On Friday, the squad will carry out a full day of activities begin with a morning training session with the mind set and on the showdown on Saturday against Estudiantes de La Plata (20.00 CET, live on Canal + Liga).
