Filipe Luis: "Winning titles with Atleti is very beautiful"
Before stepping on the pitch to train Filipe Luis stepped on the stage.
Fiipe Luis spoke to the press in the auditorium at the Wanda Metropolitano, during Media Day.
"It's an open match," Filipe said. "We've played lots of finals in the last few years and against a tough rival like Marseille, our only advantage is that we have more experience in finals. We know what it's like to play a final. Winning titles with Atleti is very beautiful"
Filipe worked tremendously hard to recover from his fibula fracture to be available for selection for the Europa League final and returned to the pitch in LaLiga matchday 36 against Espanyol.
"[After the injury] I calculated how long it was going to take to come back," he said. "I was working very hard to be able to be available for selection for the final. I knew I could do it and the other day, I had the opportunity to play [for the first time since the injury].
