Enrique Cerezo took part in the #BackToWin institutional act
Our President, Enrique Cerezo, LaLiga President, Javier Tebas and the Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, were present, and Martínez-Almeida was gifted a red and white shirt to commemorate the return of the competition.
This Wednesday, President Enrique Cerezo participated in the #BackToWin institutional act celebrated at Preciados street. This is part of a series of events that will take place around Spain this week due to LaLiga’s comeback.
The act was chaired by José Luis Martínez-Almeida, the Mayor of Madrid, and celebrated the return of the league which has been stopped for three months due to the COVID-19 health crisis. Enrique Cerezo gifted our club’s jersey to Martínez-Almeida in presence of Javier Tebas. Also present, Begoña Villacís, Vice Mayor of Madrid, Miguel Ángel Redondo, Madrid Councilor, Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid Institutional Relations Director, and Óscar Mayo, Business, Marketing and International Development at LaLiga.
This Monday, all First Division jerseys were displayed over the renowned street of Preciados. Whilst this Wednesday and Thursday, a video mapping will be projected from 22:00 until midnight over the Madrid City Hall’s façade as well as in Puerta del Sol. The video will project images of the stadiums and fans celebrating. This initiative will also take place at the Torre del Oro in Sevilla, the Hemisféric in Valencia, and in Bilbao it will be displayed at the Tourist Office headquarters and San Mamés stadium.
