Uruguayan Atlético de Madrid footballer Diego Godín was given medical clearance on Tuesday 2 November at Hospital Montepríncipe in Majadahonda, where he underwent a surgical operation due to sharp appendicitis on Saturday 30 October.
The defender has improved favourably in the past few days and will go home to continue with the planned recovery process, supervised at all times by Doctor José María Villalón, Chief of Club Atlético de Madrid Medical Services.
