Dutch referee Danny Makkelie is to officiate our Champions League opener against Juventus at the Wanda Metropolitano, UEFA has announced. Makkelie (Willemstad, Curaçao, 1983) is to be assisted by Mario Diks, Hessel Streegstra, Siemen Mulder, Jochem Kamphuis and Bas Nijhuis. The match is to be played on Wednesday, Sep. 18 at 9 pm CET.
