Our former player has died at 44 of a heart attack. He played with Atlético from January, 1997 until June, 1998.
Daniel Prodan, former player of our club, has died at 44 due to a heart attack. The footballer played with Atlético for a season and a half. He arrived in January, 1997, and left in June, 1998.
In 2012, our club and the Rumanian player crossed paths again when Atlético played the Europe League final in Bucharest, the capital of his home country. There, he saw his Atleti win the European title, being the ambassador of the final.
