Real Madrid will be our opponents in the Round of 16 of the Champions League
The first leg of the knockout stage will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu, while the return leg will be held at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.
We’ll face Real Madrid in the Round of 16 of this season's Champions League, as determined by the draw held this Friday at the House of European Football in Nyon (Switzerland). The first leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on 4 March, while the second leg will take place at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on 12 March.
Our team enter this stage after finishing fifth in the league phase of the competition, which not only allowed us to skip the playoff round but also granted us home advantage for the second leg of the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid did have to play the playoff round after finishing the league phase in 11th place, where they overcame Manchester City.
Additionally, the remaining tournament bracket has been determined, with the following key dates:
- Round of 16: 4/5 March and 11/12 March
- Quarter-finals: 8/9 April and 15/16 April
- Semi-finals: 29/30 April and 6/7 May
- Final: 31 May (Munich)
