The Atletico Madrid coaching staff had all members of the first team available plus Oliver, Manquillo and Saul in the morning session today. Arda and Tiago did not train with the group and continue their recovery processes.
Atletico returned to field 4 of the sports city with their mind set in the clash against Granada. Manquillo, Óliver Saul and Coke trained under Diego Pablo Simeone.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at a press conference after today's session. Despite the 62 points scored to date, they continue to fight for the most important aims with eight league games remaining.
The Colombian striker has 28 goals so far this season, exactly the same as at this stage of last year, but with five fewer games played. Simeone described what the number 9 is doing as "impressive".
The meeting at the Coliseum against Getafe marked the 16th game in the league in which Courtois left the field of play without conceding a goal. He is the goalie in the league that has kept the most clean sheets and the third in the big five European leagues.
Atletico already have their mind set on Sunday's match against Granada. Saul was the big news as he worked with Oliver, with the first team. Manquillo also worked with the starters against Getafe.
Oliver Torres played half an hour in the draw against Getafe. Happy to participate in the first team, he wanted to thank Simeone for the trust placed in him.
