Atlético received the '2014 Special Award' of the Globe Soccer Awards
Miguel Angel Gil, the Club’s CEO, collected the special award of the Globe Soccer Awards for the great football year we had during 2014.
The great campaign conducted by our team during 2014 continues to reap its fruits. To the League title and the Spanish Super Cup, and after reaching the UEFA Champions League final, we add the recognition of the Globe Soccer Awards. Our organization has received "2014 Special Award" for the great year we’ve had football-wise.
Miguel Angel Gil Marin, Atlético’s CEO, travelled to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to collect the award.
In 2012, Globe Soccer recognised Atlético as the best team and Radamel Falcao as the best player of the year. Two years before, in 2010, Miguel Ángel Gil was awarded with the prize for the best director of the year.
