Atlético defeats Almazán with two goals by Correa and João Félix
Atlético goes onto the next round in Copa del Rey after the win against Almazán at Los Pajaritos.

The match was a red-and-white monologue from the initial whistle. Total and absolute domination of ours. Correa had warned the local team with a shot at 5 minutes that goalkeeper Alberto saved.
Then, in minute 9, Llorente saw how his whiplash from outside the area crashed into the crossbar. In minute 13, the crossbar again prevented the goal, this time at a shot from Koke. And after a quarter of an hour it was the local goalkeeper who once again saved Almazán with a good save from Llorente's shot. The goal was chewing and Hermoso headed slightly over the crossbar after a cross from Griezmann.
The goal was hard to come by and it would not arrive until minute 35, when a run by Reinildo ended with a pass to João Félix who, from the edge of the box, shot low, Alberto did not hold and Correa took advantage of the rebound to make it 0-1. The author of the goal tried again from a distance in minute 40 but his shot went over the crossbar. With the short 0-1, the break would be reached.
Atlético continued in the same way in the second half, with absolute control of the game and with the chances that followed one another.
In minute 63, João Félix made it 0-2 with a good play behind a long wall with De Paul. The tie was already facing. Shortly after, Hermoso headed again but his shot went slightly off target. And Griezmann scored the third goal although Díaz de Mera annulled it at the request of his assistant for offside by the Frenchman.
In minute 80, a good combination ended with Koke's shot grazing the post. And Cunha had the last chance but his cross shot went very close to the local goal. Triumph against Almazán to advance to the next round of the Copa del Rey.
