The first squad held a regenerative training session on Thursday morning. The ‘rojiblanco’ squad continued to prepare for Saturday’s fixture against Barcelona at Camp Nou with the only absence being that of Tiago, who travelled to Portugal on Wednesday due to the passing of his grandfather.
Mario Suárez continued with his alternative work alongside Óscar Pitillas, physical trainer/physiotherapist, and together with Pulido. Both of them continue to pick up the pace in their recuperative processes and their return to normal training with the first squad is on the right path. In their preparation for the Barcelona match, in addition to Mario Suárez, due to injury, the ‘rojiblanco’ side will be without Luis Amaranto Perea, who was hit with a one-game suspension after being sent off against Athletic.
