THE GOALKEEPER UNDERWENT THE MEDICAL EXAMINATION THIS MORNING

Moyá will be presented this Thursday at the Calderon

The VIP lounge at the Vicente Calderón Stadium will host the presentation of the goalkeeper, who underwent the appropriate medical examinations this Wednesday.

Miguel Angel Moyá will be presented this Thursday, June 5th as a new Atlético player in an event, which will take place - from 12:30 p.m. - in the VIP lounge of the Vicente Calderón Stadium.

The goalkeeper comes to our Club after the transfer agreement achieved with Getafe and after the player passed the medical examinations to which he was submitted this morning at the Fremap clinics in Las Rozas and Majadahonda.

The goalkeeper was born on April 2nd, 1984 in Binisalem (Balearic Islands). He was international in the junior categories of the Spanish National Team achieving two European Championships, one under 16 and another under 19.

The new Atletico goalkeeper was trained in the junior categories of RCD Mallorca, where he played several seasons in its subsidiary, until finally, on August 29th, 2004, he had the chance to debut with the first team in the First Division. Starting next season, following Prats’ withdrawal, he fought to be a first-team player of Mallorca’s team until 2009.

After passing through the vermilion club, he was transferred in June 2009 to Valencia CF. There he played two seasons, after the second one and due to a lack of played minutes, he was loaned to Getafe CF, to which he was transferred to and where he’s been playing the last three seasons, until he signed for Atlético de Madrid.
