Atleti to face Chivas in second pre-season match
After the win against Numancia, our team faces Chivas in Dallas’ Global Life Park in the second test of the pre-season.
The 2019 Atleti Summer Tour is to kick off on Wednesday, July 24 at 3 am CET in Dallas’ Global Life Park. Our team is to face Chivas in the second pre-season game. Simeone has called up 26 players for the tour in the US and Mexico.
Chivas share the same colours as us – red and white shirt and blue shorts – and are known for only having Mexican players, although they do have international coaches. Founded on May 8, 1906, Chivas are the club with the most Mexican Primera División trophies (12, same as Club America).
Atleti is to complete the third week of training, having got back to work on July 4. Academy players Alex dos Santos, Montero, Carlos Isaac, Manu Sánchez, Toni Moya, Sanabria, Riquelme and Sergio Camello are part of our squad.
