Alderweireld’s First training session with the group
Toby Alderweireld trained for the first time with the team in the Ciudad Deportiva de Majadahonda. Thibaut Courtois returned to training after being with the national side, the two international Belgian joined eleven other to begin preparations for the match against Almeria.
Alderweireld joined fellow Belgian Courtois in training with his teammates after having playing with the Belgian national team. The defender took part in the first training session with Atletico on field 1 of the Majadahonda Sports City.
In the first session of the week that an hour and a half, the 13 players worked on control stability with the ball. After performing these exercises, the players did some continuous running before playing a match in a reduced space. 8 players joined the from the Juvenile A side: Nacho Sainz, Nacho Buil, Jesús Sillero, Lucas Hernández, Sergio González, Alejandro Díez, Roberto Mañas & Santi Canedo
The next training will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am.
