Agreement with Sunderland for the loan of Manquillo
The winger from Madrid will play for the English team managed by David Moyes.
Our club has reached an agreement with Sunderland for the loan of Javier Manquillo until the end of the season. The home-grown player returns to the Premier League, where he already played loaned in Liverpool the 2014-15 season.
The winger from Madrid was trained in our Academy, making the leap to the first team in the 2013-14 season, in which he played seven official games. The following season he played with Liverpool, where he played 19 official games. After his time in the English League, Manquillo went to Olympique Marseille last season, playing 43 official games before returning to our club.
Now, Javier Manquillo faces a new stage in England, in which we wish him the best of luck and a campaign filled with success with Sunderland.
