A new Copa del Rey challenge at the Carlos Tartiere
This Wednesday, from 8pm, we will face Oviedo in the Copa del Rey Round of 32.
Our team travels to Oviedo to face the Asturian team in a new match of the current edition of the Copa del Rey. After the victory in O Carballiño by 1-3 against Arenteiro, the Red & White team will be looking for this time the qualification to the Round of 16 in the first match of 2023.
Real Oviedo, meanwhile, booked their place with a 1-0 win at home against Granada. In the preliminary round, the Asturians were able to hold on for an away win over Gimnastica Torrelavega in extra time.
Simeone's men will be looking to continue the good momentum from their last game of the year against Elche, in which they won 2-0 thanks to goals from João Félix and Morata. Alejandro Muñíz will be the referee.
