Arsène Wenger: "It's a very, very big game for us"
The Arsenal boss spoke to the press in the Wanda Metropolitano's auditorium about Thursday's semi-final match against our team.
Thursday's match against Arsenal is nearly here and Arsène Wenger spoke to the press in the Wanda Metropolitano's auditorium to analyze the return leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final.
"It's a very, very big game for us," Wenger said. "We need to score."
Arsenal need to score at the Wanda Metropolitano, but once again Jan Oblak will be below the sticks to help our side try to keep a cleansheet.
"[Oblak] was fantastic in London," he said. "I hope he will be less fantastic tomorrow."
When asked about our manager Diego Pablo Simeone, Wenger was respectful and showed his admiration for our boss.
"I don't think Simeone is a young manager," he said. "He has lots of experience"
Lastly, Wenger praised our forwards and hopes his defense can keep them quiet.
"[Costa] has shown he can make the difference. He was very successful in England and it's our job to keep him quiet tomorrow," he continued. "Griezmann has done very well for Atlético de Madrid and he's a player I like very much."
