We’ll face Cagliari on 8 August
It will be the second friendly match that our team will play on the stage in Brunico.
On 8 August, we will face Cagliari in the Sardegna Arena at 8:00 p.m. CET, on what will be a new test for Diego Pablo Simeone's team. The Italian team will be the fourth rival of our team in the 2018-19 preseason following our matches played against Arsenal, PSG and Stuttgart.
This game will be the second we play on the stage in Brunico. The first friendly match in our Italian tour will face us to Stuttgart a few days before, to celebrate their 125th anniversary.
It will be the third time we face Cagliari. Our two matches, corresponding round of 16 of the European Cup date from the 1970-71 season. In the first leg, our team lost the match 2-1 in Italy, while in the second leg we managed to pass the qualifying round by defeating the Italian team by 3-0. Luis Aragonés was the main protagonist of this qualifying round by scoring the four goals from the 'rojiblancos'.
