SIMEONE CLAIMS THEY HAVE TO KEEP WORKING AS USUAL

“We’ll do everything in our hand to win tomorrow, down to the last drop of sweat”

Atlético’s coach has stressed at the press conference that football is like life; you have to give non-stop without expecting anything in return. Therefore, tomorrow, they have to keep up the work with the same ambition and dedication to defeat Málaga.

Diego Pablo Simeone has started his appearance before the media recalling that football is like life, and therefore, “One has to give non-stop without expecting anything in return”. That’s our philosophy: work, work and work.

Simeone has indicated that the team will play on Sunday with the same ambition and dedication they always deliver, and has no doubts whatsoever that his players will give their all on the field: “We’ll do everything in our hand to win tomorrow, down to the last drop of sweat”.

I know I have to win, and if I win, they won’t catch up with me

The Argentinian doesn’t want to speculate with the result. “We have to win, and then we’ll see what happens next”. Although the numbers are clear for Atlético’s coach: “I know I have to win, and if I win, they won’t catch up with me”.

Regarding Diego Costa’s presence tomorrow, he’s indicated that he’s “Feeling better, today he was more confortable” but they’ll wait for more tests tomorrow.

He’s also convinced that the support at the Vicente Calderón will help their team, because, “There will be many people at the pitch and that’ll be good to face an important fixture, knowing what remains of the League" he explained.
