We welcome Leganés to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano
This Sunday, 20 October, we are back at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, for an interesting clash between Atlético de Madrid and Leganés kicking off at 16:15 CEST, which will coincide with the celebration of Día de las Peñas.
Our side come into the game unbeaten in the current LaLiga season, after the draw in San Sebastián on the most recent Matchday before the International break. The team have recorded two 3-0 wins at home (against Girona and Valencia) and two draws (against Espanyol and Real Madrid), as well as away wins against Celta and Athletic (both 0-1) and draws against Villarreal (2-2), Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad (both 1-1).
In terms of the away side, Leganés have only won one match which came against Las Palmas in Butarque (2-1), as well as losing three matches, two at home against Mallorca (0-1) and Athletic (0-2) and one game away to Betis (2-0). They’re are a very tough team to face away from home because after the defeat at Villamarín they have recorded four draws on visits to Osasuna (1-1), Valladolid (0-0), Getafe (1-1) and Rayo Vallecano (1-1).
José Luis Munuera Montero will officiate the match, assisted by Javier Iglesias Villanueva from the VAR room.
