Wang Jianlin and Miguel Ángel Gil sign a strategic agreement in Nanning
The president of Dalian Wanda Group and our CEO spoke about the successful development of the international program to train talented young people that will be reinforced in the first phase with the creation of two headquarters of our Academy in China.
This Thursday, Wang Jianlin, president of Dalian Wanda Group, and Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, CEO of Atlético de Madrid, signed in Nanning the strategic agreement reached between Wanda Sports and the Atlético de Madrid that was presented in an event for our club, 'The night of Atlético de Madrid', celebrated on Wednesday night and which was attended by more than 300 people, representing the main sports, commercial, marketing and mass media companies in China.
In said event, the commitment of the strategic agreement signed by Wanda Sports and Atlético de Madrid was ratified, to promote the project of training young talented people with the creation of the first phase in Chinese territory by opening two headquarters of our Academy in two different locations, in which the football players will start their training that they will later finish in Madrid.
The support of Wanda Sports to develop the Atlético de Madrid brand in the Asian country was also reaffirmed. This will include different initiatives that will facilitate a closer contact and closeness with the local fans, as well as the opening of two commercial offices in Beijing and Chengdu to close commercial agreements and develop business in the country.
