THE ROJIBLANCOS HAD A SESSION DIVIDED BETWEEN THE GYM AND THE PLAYING FIELD

Two hours preparing for Valencia

Diego Pablo Simeone designed a training in which there was 50 minutes of gym work and an hour and a quarter of work on the field.

Óliver Torres and Manquillo, who played with Atletico B against Luanco on Saturday, were involved from the beginning with the first team. They joined the group formed by Juanfran, Cata Diaz, Raul Garcia, Adrian, Tiago, Pulido, Mario Suarez, Insua, Miranda, Gabi and Cisma.

After 50 minutes of work in the gym, Atletico went down to field 4 at the Sports City, where they stayed for an hour and a quarter. For starters, while Sergio Asenjo worked with Paul Vercellone the rest of the team did some continuous running. Then Atletico conducted an exercise with the ball working on touch and accurate passing.

Then they did a giant rondo with four players in the middle, where they had to pressure the opponent and retrieve the ball. To end, seven homegrown players (Ruben, Borja and Gerard Gallant, Atletico B, and Galass, Gregorio, Alex Diaz and Coke) joined the session for a game without goalkeepers in confined space with four goals small. The red team was made up of: Manquillo, Miranda, Cata Diaz, Insua, Gabi, Mario Suarez, Juanfran, Oliver, Raul Garcia, and Adrian. And the green team made up of: Galass, Pulido, Cisma, Gregorio, Tiago, Coke, Alex Diaz, Borja Galan, Ruben, and Gerard.
