Tribute to our legend Paulo Futre
This Thursday, February 23, at 5:30pm CET, we will pay tribute to our Portuguese legend in the season in which the 35th anniversary of his debut as a Red & White is celebrated.
This Thursday, February 23, at the Cívitas Metropolitano, our legend Paulo Futre will receive a tribute from the club at 5:30pm CET in the stadium auditorium, which can be followed live through our social media channels.
Futre, the image of the membership card in this season in which the 35th anniversary of his debut is celebrated, will be surrounded by representatives of the club, legends, members of the Senate and a group of members who have the coincidence of being born on the same day and year than the Portuguese.
After the event, Futre, who is also present in our 'Since 1903' collection of products, will go to the official store of the Cívitas Metropolitano to star, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, in an autograph signing session in which all our fans will have the opportunity to be closer to their idol.
This tribute is added to the one carried out last September on the occasion of the Champions League match against Porto, where the former player of both teams was cheered at the stadium.
Our legend Paulo Jorge dos Santos Futre, after a long career with 242 appearances as Atlético de Madrid football player and 60 goals -in two different stages of his career at the club- won two Copas del Rey, in 1991 and 1992.
