Torres: "Playing against Liverpool will be very special"

Fernando Torres assured in statements in the mixed zone of the Allianz Arena that it will be very special to play against his former team. "For me, playing against Liverpool is always going to be special. It’s a club that I have in my heart and I spent three and a half fantastic years there, I have many friends, so it will be very special," he said.
Our forward spoke about Atlético’s pre-season. "We have only been training for a couple of weeks, you could see that they were much more fit than us, and they showed that from the beginning. It took us until the half-time to get into the game, we started better the second half and even then, they scored the first one and you could see the reaction of the team, the character that we always show, and in the end, we could beat Napoli. It’s a good result for us, it’s our first game in Europe this pre-season and it’s always positive to win," he noted.
