When Diego Pablo Simeone’s men came out for the warm up in the Jose Zorrilla stadium, the screams of fans echoed around the stadium. Atletico made themselves at home with over 2.000 fans joining the team for this away trip.

Thousands travelled to Valladolid to support their team and shout them on despite the rainy weather. The town centre was covered in red and white prior to the game. Once inside the stadium, they all joined together to provide encouragement to their players who responded on the pitch thanks to the efforts of its fans. Among the large group of followers of Atletico in Valladolid were the club volunteers who spent the weekend in the city and returned to Madrid after tasting a great victory for their team.
