AC/DC, the legendary band that has sold millions of records, announced today that they will return to Europe as part of their ‘POWER UP’ tour.
The ‘POWER UP’ tour, titled after their latest album which reached number 1 in 21 countries, brought the band to Europe last year to the rapturous welcome of their fans and praise from critics. The tour will continue this spring with stadium dates in 13 cities in the USA.
AC/DC will perform twelve concerts in ten countries this summer. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 CET on 7 February 2025*. The tour includes AC/DC’s first-ever show in Estonia and the gig in Edinburgh is the band’s first in Scotland, the Young family’s homeland, in a decade.
AC/DC was formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973 and has since become one of the most influential rock bands in history, having sold over 200 million records all over the world. The group’s third album, ‘Back in Black’, is the “best-selling album of any band in history” and the “third highest-seller of any artist” at 50 million copies sold. AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll® Hall of Fame in 2003. They still regularly sell out stadiums the world over, sell millions of records each year and generate billions of plays.
