The Wanda Metropolitano pays tribute to Radamel Falcao
The Colombian striker visited the Wanda Metropolitano for the first time on Wednesday, where he was presented a framed photograph of his time at our club by Adelardo and Godín.
Wednesday was a special day for Radamel Falcao. Our former striker was presented a framed photograph of his time at our club by Adelardo and Godín before the Champions League match between Atleti and AS Monaco.
Falcao played at our club for two seasons, in which he scored 70 goals in 91 matches and won the Europa League (2011/12), UEFA Super Cup (2012) and the Copa del Rey (2012/13).
The paths of our team and this phenomenal striker have crossed again during the Atleti - AS Monaco match, and it's a privilege to be able to pay tribute to a player that will forrever be remembered by our fans.
