The European Club Association (ECA) held its 31st General Assembly in Athens

The assembly saw the approval of the renewal of the common action agreement signed by UEFA and the ECA, which has now been extended until July 2033.

The European Club Association (ECA), comprised of more than 700 clubs, held its 31st General Assembly in Athens from 8-10th October, with the presence of our CEO, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, a member of the executive committee of the association.

The assembly, attended by more than 400 delegates from member clubs and over 100 special guests, also featured the presence of ECA President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.

During the assembly, the extension of the common action agreement signed by UEFA and the ECA in September 2023 was approved, with the agreement now valid until July 2033. Additionally, elections were held for the ECA Board of Directors to fill vacant positions in Subdivision Two, the budget for the 2024/25 season was approved, and the association's awards for the 2023/24 campaign were announced.

The next ECA General Assembly will be held from 7-9th October 2025 in Rome.
