The Danish Midtjylland, our rival in the play offs
Our rival in the qualifying play offs for the round of 16 is the Danish Midtjylland. We will play for our pass in their Stadium to a single game on the 10th of February.
Atlético de Madrid has a rival for the round of 16 of the Youth League. It will be the Midtjylland from Denmark, a young team, with 16 years of history, and which has reached this stage after passing two qualifiers in the National Champions stage. First, it beat Saburtalo Tbilisi from Georgia after winning by 3-1 at home and 1-2 away. And, in the second knockout round, it beat Legia from Warsaw by 2-0 at home and 1-3 in Poland.
Our team has completed a group stage in which they only lost a match, at home against Benfica (1-2), tying away against the Portuguese (1-1), and adding four wins against Galatasaray (1-3, 4-0) and Astana (7-1 and 0-9).
