The Vicente Calderon is ready to live another great night of the Champions League. The premier club competition returns to our stadium and will do so with a really big game between Atlético de Madrid and Bayern, corresponding to the second week of the group stage.

The teams of Simeone and Ancelotti lead group D of the Champions League with three points each after they beat the Russian Rostov (5-0) in the first week and we defeated PSV at the Philips Stadion (0-1), with a great goal from Saúl.

Simeone has called 18 players for this match. The Argentinian manager said in press conference: “They have a very competitive team.” For his part, Ancelotti said: “It’s always complicated to play against Atlético.”

Griezmann and Lewandowski arrive as the top scorers of the two teams with five and nine goals each.
