Six Atleti players nominated for UEFA.com Team of the Year
Oblak, Giménez, Godín, Lucas, Saúl and Griezmann have been nominated for the UEFA.com Team of the Year. Voting open until Jan. 11.
Oblak, Giménez, Godín, Lucas, Saúl and Griezmann are among the 50 nominees for UEFA.com's Team of the Year, following their great performances in 2018.
Our players won the Europa League in May, after beating Olympique Marseille 3-0 in May thanks to two goals by Griezmann and one from Gabi. Moreover, we also won the UEFA Super Cup in August against Real Madrid. Our team earned a fantastic 4-2 win in a match in which Costa (x2), Saúl and Koke were the goalscorers.
Voting is open until Jan. 11, date in which the winners are to be announced.
