Diego Pablo Simeone analyzed our upcoming Champions League match against AS Roma.
“Roma have grown a lot since our last match,” he said. “They’re more confident in their play and much quicker offensively.”
When asked about how Roma will play against Atlético de Madrid, Simeone believes Roma won’t be set up conservatively.
“I think they’ll play an open match tomorrow, since they still have the game against Qarabag in Rome to qualify for the next round [of the Champions League]."
Simeone knows the importance of tomorrow’s match and hopes the lads do what needs to be done.
“Tomorrow, we must think of ourselves instead of Qarabag [vs Chelsea], because there's one more Champions League match,” our coach said. “We hope to live up to our expectations.”
