Simeone: "We don't feel pressured, we feel a responsibility"
The Argentinian coach highlighted the importance of the match at the press conference prior to the second leg match of the Champions League quarter-finals.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at the press conference prior to the second leg match of the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid: “This game is thrilling. These nights of football are rare and you have to live and play them. Anxiety, commitment, nerves… the players feel all of that. Those who manage to overcome all of that and play the match will have an advantage.”
The Argentinian lessened his players' pressure for the match at the Santiago Bernabéu: “Neither team is pressured. The pressure, as we always say, is another thing in life. We have our responsibilities and I don't think that one has less than the other. Each one will play with the weapons and the needs the match entails.”
When asked about the injured players of Real Madrid, Simeone stated that “It's clear that the characteristics of the players. are not the same, but another state surfaces in the footballer who's going to enter. It doesn't change us much. We have an idea imagining the match the rival can present and from there, we'll try to find what can hurt them more.”
