Simeone: “To achieve our goal, we’ll have to make an enormous effort”
The Atlético coach claimed at the press conference that Chelsea is rival he very much respects and believes the match will be won by the team that works better.
Diego Pablo Simeone recognised in his appearance before the media, “It’s normal that before a conclusive match, the players are more confident and in this case, the guys are very hopeful. To achieve our goal we’ll have to make an enormous effort”.

The Argentinian coach explained that the team “Believes it’s not good to stop and think what’s going on, but rather on walking in reality’s consequence. I don’t think about the differences between Atlético de Madrid and Chelsea, this is a football game where there’s a ball and the one who works better in consequence, will win the match. Furthermore, Simeone recognised being “Very respectful of football. I believe there are different ways of winning a match. Every one chooses which is more appropriate according to the team they have. Defending isn’t easy and when a team does it very well, you have to congratulate them”. Lastly, when asked about the possible injured from Chelsea, he imagined the best possible rival. “The other day they went to the British League leaders’ home and won 0-2 with a lot of substitutions, that inspires a lot of respect”, he concluded.
