Simeone: "Las Palmas will demand our very best"

The Argentinian manager spoke before the second League match about the fixture against Las Palmas, Correa, Filipe Luis and the Champions League draw.

Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in front of the media in the press room of the Wanda Training Complex. The Argentinian coach analysed the match against the team from the Canaries: "I don’t think the match is in our favour, because we’re going to a pitch where they’re playing their first home game. We know the enthusiasm you experience when you play at home at the start of the season. They will demand our very best and will demand us to take the match to where we can harm them."

In addition, Simeone also analysed the rivals in the Champions League group stage: "Probably, both Roma, Chelsea and us have the same possibilities of advancing, and the trip that we will make to Azerbaijan will obviously be complicated for all. I know that Chelsea is a team that last season played a great season. They have very good football players and a coach who has the capacity to constantly reinvent himself and always makes his teams very competitive. Roma is a spectacular team. They play football very well and have a fantastic coach. Obviously, we are excited to be in this group."
