Simeone: "I will try to bring out the best of everyone for each match, because not all the games are the same"
The Argentinian manager analysed the role of his players after our fourth match of the pre-season.
After our team’s victory this Sunday in their visit to Brighton & Hove Albion’s stadium, Diego Pablo Simeone addressed the media in a press conference in which he was asked about the match.
Regarding Nico Gaitán, the scorer of our first goal, the Argentinian manager said, "He has a natural talent." "He gives us solutions in the most difficult side of football, which is the offensive. In this pre-season, he is working well and going from less to more, like all the rest," he added.
Regarding the amount of players he has in the midfield, Simeone said: "According to the rivals, Koke's position in the midfield would be better to play the ball out of defence. Soon, Saúl will join the team and the competition will be greater. Thomas is doing very well, Gaitán is growing, Carrasco is destabilising and Gabi transmits everything that a captain and a football player has to transmit, so I will have to think hard and try to bring out the best of everyone for each match, because not all the games are the same."
