Diego Pablo Simeone continues making history in Atlético de Madrid. After beating Ricardo Zamora as the coach with more matches in the history of our club, he has reached 250 in this first leg match of the Champions League quarter-finals, although, obviously, he is still far from the legend of the red and white benches, Luis Aragonés, who reached 611 matches as a manager.

The percentage of Simeone is devastating, since he accumulates 156 wins, 52 ties and 42 defeats in these years he has been leading he squad, since December of 2011. With him on the bench, the team has scored 481 goals and conceded 179.

Since he arrived to the club, Simeone has won a Europa League, a UEFA Super Cup, a King’s Cup, a League and a Spanish Super Cup, in addition to having two more runners-up, the Champions League and another Spanish Super Cup.
