The Argentinian coach has reached a historic figure in his 321st match managing our team.

This Saturday, Diego Pablo Simeone has won his 320th match as Atlético de Madrid’s manager. Our team beat Las Palmas by 1-5 thanks to goals by Correa, Carrasco, Koke (2) and Thomas.

The Argentinian coach continues beating records managing our team. Simeone came to the club in December, 2011, and made his debut on the bench on 7th January, 2012 at Málaga’s Rosaleda. His first win took place a few days later in his debut at the Vicente Calderón against Villarreal (3-0).

Only Luis Aragonés surpasses Atlético’s current coach managing and winning games on the red and white bench. Simeone accumulates 321 matches leading the Atlético players with 200 wins, 67 ties and 54 defeats. In total, the Argentinian manager has a winning average of 62.3% in 321 official games.
