Savic suffers a muscle overuse of his right thigh
The centre-back underwent an ultrasound after the training that determined he suffers a muscle overuse.
Stefan Savic had to leave before the end of the morning training session held at the Sports City, after which he underwent an ultrasound in Majadahonda’s FREMAP clinic. The test indicated that the footballer does not suffer an anatomical lesion but a muscle overuse to the back of his right thigh. The Montenegrin centre-back is pending evolution.
For his part, Augusto Fernández is working on his recovery with physical therapists while performing functional rehabilitation work in the gym. Diego Godín progresses in the same line, recovering in the gym as well as undergoing physical therapy.
Medical discharge
Fernando Torres and Lucas Hernández have joined this week’s training with the rest of the group and will be available for Diego Pablo Simeone for next Saturday’s match against Eibar. Both players have been medically discharged and exercise normally.
