Raúl García: "We do not know the word relax"
The midfielder certified in the press conference that Atletico will go for victory as always since Simeone’s men know no other way to play football. The ambition of this team is big.
Raúl García spoke in the press room of the Vicente Calderon just before the last training in preparation for the match against Porto. The Navarre player confessed that the squad does not "relax " despite having qualified, they’re look for a victory at home to finish the group stage in the best way. "We can not relax. That word does not exist for us. We've shown, we always want to win and go do things right especially at home, we can not go out here relaxed," he said.
The Atletico midfielder would miss the first leg of the next round if he picks up a yellow card tomorrow, something that does not worry him at all. "I think that if I play tomorrow, I’ll not be thinking about that. We must play every game the same way. If I get the card then I'll have to miss the game but I’m just thinking about competing at the highest level," he said.
Atletico Madrid is characterized by great internal competition between all players, something that benefits the whole team. "All players want to play as much as possible, me and my team mates are all the same. I'm happy to help the team and all the team is doing well, which is the most important," he said.
