Our Academy establishes its international campus network
They are distributed all over the world and are for children and young people from 6 to 18 years of age. In them, they will learn the training methodology and the values of our club.
The Atlético de Madrid Academy presents its exclusive international campus network in which children from around the world will enjoy the opportunity to train according to the methods and values of our club.
The program of each and every of the campuses will be taught by coaches and official sports supervisors of the Atlético de Madrid Academy and is intended for boys and girls between 6 and 18 years of age. All of them will develop their technical and tactical skills, learn new concepts on and off the field, and live an unforgettable experience linked to Atlético de Madrid.
The Atlético de Madrid campuses are a responsibility of the Academy’s Management, which provides the coaching personnel, the work programs and guidelines of the club’s integral training model, pursuing the following goals:
- To facilitate learning the technical and tactical concepts of football according to the methodology followed in the Atlético de Madrid Academy.
- To transmit the values that Atlético de Madrid represents, such as effort, sacrifice, teamwork, perseverance, solidarity, etc.
- To teach the importance of fulfilling sports and dietary habits, as well as all the aspects linked with the balance of elite athletes.
- To promote the cohabitation between boys and girls of different ages, nationalities and cultures with a common passion: football and Atlético de Madrid.
- To take part in formative, playing and recreational activities related to football.
The training sessions will be complemented with seminars managed by the same Atlético de Madrid coaches and professionals belonging to the club. Among the topics that will be taught are the history and values of the club, its methodology, coaching and sports psychology, recruitment, fitness training, goalkeeper’s training and medical services, among others. The seminars’ aim is that the participants and the speakers interact between them and make the most of the sessions.
