WITH 483 APPEARANCES

Oblak ties Tomás Reñones as the player with the third-most competitive appearances for Atlético

In his eleventh season, our goalkeeper is now surpassed only by Adelardo Rodríguez and Koke Resurrección, who have played 553 and 672 matches respectively.

Jan Oblak continues to make history. With his appearance in Sunday's match against FC Barcelona, the Slovenian goalkeeper made his 483rd competitive appearance for Atlético de Madrid, equalling Tomás Reñones in third place in the club’s all-time appearance makers.

The goalkeeper, who made his debut for the club on 16 September 2014 against Olympiacos, now only has Adelardo Rodríguez and Koke Resurrección ahead of him in this ranking, with 553 and 672 games respectively.

In his eleventh season with our club, Oblak has recorded 360 appearances in LaLiga, 94 in the Champions League, 18 in the Copa del Rey, 6 in the Europa League, 4 in the Spanish Super Cup, and one in the UEFA Super Cup. Over this time, he has won a Spanish Super Cup (2014-15), a Europa League (2017-18), a UEFA Super Cup (2018-19), and a LaLiga title (2020-21), in addition to five Zamora Trophies (2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21). This individual accolade has only been achieved as many times as he has by Antoni Ramallets and Víctor Valdés, and he also holds the record for the best goals-conceded ratio in a single LaLiga season (0.47% in 2015-16), tied with Francisco Liaño (1993-94).

Congratulations, Jan!
