Miranda: "Our stadium is our strength"
Joao Miranda appeared before the media in the Majadahonda Sports city and said the match against Sevilla will be "difficult " as they have improved a lot as a team in the first round.
Sevilla are on a good run and getting nearer to the European places improving as a team compared compared to the league start in which we won with 1-3 at the Sanchez Pizjuan. "They are stronger, and it will certainly be a very difficult match" he admitted.
The team is showing that it is here to stay despite competing in all competitions. "Many said we would last no more than the first three games, others said we would not be here at the end of the first round and we are showing that we are very strong and should continue. We're thinking about going game by game, we have to always win and we will surely fight until the end," he said.
The Vicente Calderon is one of the most impregnable fortresses in the league, a must to keep fighting in all competitions. "Our stadium is our strength and we are demonstrating with our fans, who always give us everything, we are responding to the task. To fight for the league you have to win every game at home and need to get the most points possible away, so far as we are doing," he said.
Finally , Joao spoke of the Cup "The Cup is a beautiful competition for this club and we will fight for it ."In addition, he said that "we have a very strong group with a lot of competition among all players and need to fight in every game," he concluded.
