Mario Suarez starts the first phase of his injury rehabilitation

Mario Suarez has started the countdown from his pelvic osteopathic operation. The central midfielder past some test in the medical centre Clinica Cemtro with Doctor Pedro Guillén on the morning of Monday the 6th of June. The surgeon who operated on the midfielder confirmed that his evaluation was satisfactory and that the player could start his rehabilitation in the Madrid hospital.
He’ll remain with the physiotherapists in the hospital for around 10 days where he’ll undertake various tasks supervised by Doctor Pedro Guillén. Upon completion of this phase, Mario will start the second phase, his reentry to sporting activities, when he’ll rejoin the club physiotherapists until the 4th of July, the same day when the rest of the squad come back to training after their summer break. During this third and final phase, he’ll return to full training intensity with the aim of joining in with his team mates as soon as possible. Mario will have an intensive month of work and will not have a summer break, but he wants to be in prime condition for the first day of pre-season training. After a full year of problems with his pelvic injury which has prevent him from performing to best, he's looking to start the year in the best physical state possible to face a season in which he has a high expectations.
