Madrid City Council received the Cup semifinalists

The mayor of the capital, Ana Botella, met on Tuesday with the presidents of Atletico and Real Madrid at the Palacio de Cibeles on the occasion of the meeting that will see the two Madrid teams fight for a place in the final.

With just a day before the first leg of Cup semifinals, Atletico will face Real Madrid for a place in the final, the Municipality of the capital received both teams in the Institutional Palacio de Cibeles, ahead of a repeat of last years final on May 17, 2013 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The mayor of the capital, Ana Botella, met on Tuesday with the presidents of Atletico and Real Madrid at the Palacio de Cibeles to wish them all the luck ahead of the cup semifinal. "Best wishes to both teams and both sets of fans, I call for sportsmanship and respect each other," she admitted.

"As mayor of the city, it is a pleasure for me to welcome the president of Atletico and Real Madrid, two teams that represent us exceptionally. This final guarantee that a Madrid team will be present in the final," said Ana Botella not forgetting to mention Luis Aragones who said "has been a leader in the Spanish football as a player and coach."

Enrique Cerezo endorsed the earlier words about a match which is so important for the city of Madrid, hoping it will be "a good sports day, a special day for both teams and for all football fans . I 'm sure both clubs will behave properly as they always do."
