The match at the Mestalla will one of the 14 finals to play in this decisive stretch of the League. Atlético de Madrid come into the match after drawing against Celta (1-1) at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. The Ché come into the clash after drawing against Villarreal at La Cerámica (1-1).

Carlos Corberán’s side have different objectives compared to ours, as they aim to move away from the relegation zone in what has been a difficult season. However, in their last five matches, Valencia have been in good form at home beating Leganés (2-0), Celta (2-1) and Real Sociedad (1-0). They have only dropped points against Barcelona at the Olímpico Lluis Companys (7-1) and in the aforementioned draw against Villarreal.

In the last five matches LaLiga, our side have recorded three draws, one at the Bernabéu (1-1) and two at home against Villarreal (1-1) and Celta (1-1), with a defeat against Leganés (1-0) and a win at home against Mallorca (2-0).

In terms of the last five visits away to Valencia, Atlético have won two matches, but 0-1 in the 2020/21 and 2022/23 seasons, two draws in the 2019/20 season (2-2) and in the 2021/22 season (3-3) and a defeat (3-0) last season. The objective on this occasion is to get another win to continue our march to the top of the table.
